How To Deal With Emotional Breakdown?

Hope you are doing absolutely fine. Today we are going to
discuss the scar which cannot be healed by ointments.
Healing yourself from the physical scar is much easier than the
emotional scar. In physical pain, we know that what first we should do... either
to call a doctor or take the first aid. But what if we are going through the
emotional scar or emotional breakdown. In this situation, we can't find out what we should do? So here we are with our next article, ‘How to deal with an
emotional breakdown?’

You are Hijacked
Your brain has many different parts that work together. One part
of the brain tends to be much stronger in most cases. It tells you that somebody
needs you when they feel to smile back at you, it tells you to eat a packet of
biscuits even though you just had your tea. The only problem is that these
thoughts are beyond your control you are being hijacked.
Learn to watch these thoughts write them down but don't act on
them. Later after you have forgotten about them take out the piece of paper and
analyze if any of the points had any merit.
Find the source
The first saying that you should do is the find the source of
your emotional breakdown. Sometimes we can't even remember what caused us
emotionally broken.
Find the motivations
Always remember one thing that those who have a purpose to keep
on going always wins the race. So find your purpose of keep on going from the
problem due to which you are feeling emotionally broken. Fight with the problem
and keep on motivating yourself.
The balance between negative and
positive thinking
It is a bitter truth that negative thinking however small, always
grab our attention more than positive ones. And moreover, when you are
emotionally broken negative you become more adaptive to find a negative. It is
natural but it needs to be balanced out with some conscious practice at picking
out positive elements.
Positive thinking is important because when you believe good
things will happen you tend to work towards making them happen and all you also
notice good things happening.
Negative thinking is also important because it allows you to
anticipate what could go wrong and plan how to deal with them.
And the balance between negative and positive thinking is a
must. Because when the negative ones are more you will feel more depressed and
when positive thinking is more you will feel happier but will unconscious
about the present situation.
Only take responsibility for things
you can control
It is obvious that mentally strong people take responsibility
for their life but they don't take responsibility for everything. If you take
responsibility for everything then you will be more depressed. Instead, try to
accept that there are things outside of your control.
Evaluate your
problems
Sometimes due to the pressure, we automatically create problems
in our mind which may be a real problem but not important at this moment. So
give your first priority to those which are important for you at that time and
leave the other ones. This will help you to escape from the web of problems.
Meditate yourself
Meditation is a wonderful tool in life and is the way you can
completely relax your mind and be at your most vulnerable. The vulnerability
can be viewed as a bad thing but it isn't when you are in a relaxed environment
where you make all the calls and you can think about whatever you wish. Put all
your energy into showing you're all the emotions like cry if you need to and you
may take a nap after that experience. Meditation is simply as freeing yourself
from all the distractions and all the disappointments and going to a place in

Sleep
Sleep as much as you can. Try to get 8 to 9 hours of
uninterrupted sleep. And dreams are the virtually real world where you can try
your new ideas to overcome the problem without any interruption.
Find self-help books or
videos
Such as assertiveness training videos, cognitive behavioural
therapy videos, and documentaries on anxiety or other ailments that may protein
to you and your shoes and try to assess issues and how to resolve them. There
is a great deal of good advice for free out there that could change your life
for the better if you just take the time to open up and take in it. YouTube is heaven for answers.
Devote yourself to
learning
Learn something new. Invest in you. Make yourself goals. Often
depressions come from us not living up to our own expectations of self. By
adding to your internal that database of knowledge you are expanding your
Horizon and reminding yourself that there is always how to be learned and
always more ways for your worldview to shift.
Take a trip
Take a day, a week or a month to escape yourself from usual
surroundings and welcome in the world outside your doorstep. Sometimes a change
in your mindset is as simple as a change in scenery and being away from home
allows you to space the freedom and the tranquillity to heal on your own terms.
Give yourself permission to let
go
Not everything happens to us has to have a meaning of the lesson. If
your past no longer serves you give yourself permission to let go and forget
about the pain that has been holding you back. You dictate your story and you
don't have to place emphasis on anything that makes you feel small.
Eat deliciously
Sometimes eating something delicious make you feel good and
feeling good is a sign that you are overcoming the breakdown.
Busy yourself in
work
There is a saying, “free mind is the evil’s home”. A free mind
can generate negative thoughts in your mind. So let yourself busy in your work.
Turn the grief into the strength. And put all that strength in your work. By doing
this at least you are not giving space to negative thoughts in your mind.
Learn to walk away
Perhaps the single most important step to regaining control over
your life comes through learning to walk away from the situations that are
holding you back. It takes an incredible amount of bravery to break away from
what you have known. But it also gives way to an incredible opportunity to
start over the way you have always wanted to.
Let yourself be happy that you are
comfortable with
Too often we sabotage our own happiness out of a reluctance to
trusted. Rather than allowing ourselves to grow into bigger shoes we declare
feet not big enough and retreat. We have to start allowing align ourselves to
let go of guilt and self-doubt and start seizing opportunities as they arise.
Even if we feel a bit about of a league along the way.
Healing yourself from mental breakdown is not an easy task and
it cannot be done over
